A 5K is most people’s first finish line, and the medal you hand them is the reason many come back next year. Our 5K medals are die-cast zinc alloy — the same casting quality as our marathon hardware — sized and priced for community races, charity runs, turkey trots, and school fun runs.
Because 5Ks often run on tight nonprofit budgets, this is our most affordable line: bright enamel fills, playful custom shapes, and stock or custom ribbons, starting at $1.55 per medal at volume.

Pricing is by size, not by sport: a 3-inch medal runs about $2.50 each at 100 units for any race — larger sizes slightly more, smaller sizes less, and same-size medals start at the same price. Design and proofs are quoted with your order. New designs carry a one-time mold fee (generally around $100, depending on size); reorders of the same design never pay it again. Specialty builds — spinners, moving parts, oversized cutouts — can add to the per-medal cost.

What is the cheapest way to get custom 5K medals?
Order at volume tiers (price drops at 250, 500, and 1,000 units), choose a stock ribbon instead of sublimated, and book 6+ weeks out to avoid rush fees. At 1,000+ units our 5K medals are $1.55 each.
Can we order 5K medals for a small race?
Our minimum run is 100 medals. For smaller fields, most directors order the full 100 with an evergreen design — no year on the medal face — and carry extras into next season, which costs less per finisher than a short run ever would.
Do fun run medals work for non-running events?
Absolutely. The same line covers color runs, walkathons, bike rodeos, and school field days — anything with a finish line and a crowd that earned something.
